The UPSC CMS exam is one of the most prestigious medical competitive exams in India, conducted annually to recruit doctors for Central Health Services, Railways, Municipal Corporations and other central departments.

• Paper 1: General Medicine and Paediatrics
• Paper 2: Surgery, Gynaecology & Obstetrics (G&O) and Preventive & Social Medicine (PSM)
• Each paper carries 250 marks (total 500), objective/MCQ-based.
• Both papers are followed by a Personality Test of 100 marks.
